How to structure a university research draft
A research paper is not a wall of text: readers — and graders — expect a recognizable structure. Almost every faculty follows the same skeleton: title, abstract, introduction, body sections, conclusion, references. This tool builds that skeleton for you from your topic, then hands every section back to you as editable text, so you can rewrite, shorten or enrich it before the PDF is created.
- Choose the document type — University Research, Assignment or Report — and the language the draft should be written in (Arabic or English).
- Write a precise topic. “Artificial intelligence” is too broad; “the impact of artificial intelligence on early mathematics education” gives the draft a clear boundary. One specific sentence beats a paragraph of generalities.
- Pick the target length — auto, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 pages — and the content is balanced to fit it.
- Optionally enable references in APA 7, MLA, IEEE or Harvard style; they are appended on the last page, each with a link you can open to verify.
- Review section by section in the preview, correct anything that does not match your course, then generate the PDF with a table of contents and page numbers.
What makes a draft academically solid
A focused question. Before writing, answer: what exactly am I investigating, and why does it matter? A draft that states its question in the first paragraph is immediately easier to follow and to grade.
Evidence, not assertions. Every general claim should be backed by a source or a concrete example. That is what the references option is for: the tool only lists material returned by public indexes (Wikipedia, OpenAlex, Crossref), each with a verification link — if something cannot be checked, the tool says so instead of inventing a citation.
One citation style, used consistently. APA 7 is standard in the social sciences, MLA in the humanities, IEEE in engineering and Harvard in business. Mixing styles within one paper is one of the most common reasons papers lose marks — pick one at the start and keep it from the first page to the reference list.
Your own voice. A generated draft is a starting point, not a submission. Add your own examples from lectures, rewrite the parts that do not sound like you, and follow your university’s academic-integrity rules: always attribute ideas that are not your own.
Practical tips for a better draft
- Outline first, expand second. Generate with 5 pages, read the section headings, fix the outline, then regenerate at the full length you need.
- Read the introduction aloud. Awkward sentences become obvious the moment you hear them — rewrite them before generating the PDF.
- Keep paragraphs short. Three to five sentences per paragraph makes an argument far easier to follow on both screen and paper.
- Verify every number and date in the draft against the linked source; the search index can be out of date, and you are the final editor.
- Format is not content. Use the tool for structure and sources; use Text to PDF when you already have your own finished text and only need clean formatting.
Privacy and cost
The draft is generated in your browser and the PDF is created on your device — no account, no watermark, no fee. Only the topic text you type is sent to the AI writing provider, and only topic keywords reach the public source APIs; we never receive your name, your file or any personal data. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
