About University PDF

University PDF — “Your University Work, Made Simple.” — is a free suite of five essential tools for university students around the world, available in Arabic and English.

Our story

University PDF started from a very simple frustration: a student needs to turn a research draft into a clean PDF, understand a lecture sheet full of exercises, or know what their GPA will be after this semester — and every “free” online tool either stamps a watermark on the file, forces an account sign-up, uploads the document to an unknown server, or simply produces broken Arabic with reversed, disconnected letters.

So we built the site we wished existed: five focused tools that run entirely in your browser, respect your privacy, treat Arabic as a first-class language, and cost nothing — no trials, no premium tiers, no watermarks.

Our mission

Every university student — anywhere, on any device, in Arabic or English — should be able to produce clean, professional academic documents and run the small calculations of student life in seconds, without paying, registering, or giving up their files.

How each tool works

  • Text to PDF — paste or write your text, choose the language, page size, font size, line spacing, margins and page count, then generate the PDF locally in one click, with optional references in APA, MLA, IEEE or Harvard style.
  • Research Draft Builder — type your research topic (or a set of practice questions), pick the document language and target length, and the tool drafts a structured, editable document — introduction, sections, conclusion and table of contents — which you review, edit and download as a properly formatted PDF, with optional verified references.
  • Study PDF Analyzer — upload a lecture sheet, worksheet or problem set (PDF or TXT up to 8 MB). The file is read inside your own browser, its questions are explained with worked answers you can edit, and the result becomes a formatted PDF you can revisit while revising.
  • GPA Calculator — add your courses with credit hours and grades (letters or numeric out of 100), choose your university's scale (4.0, 4.3, 100% or a custom mapping), and get your semester GPA or your new cumulative GPA instantly, including total credit hours and quality points.
  • University Cost Calculator — enter your remaining credit hours and the price per credit hour (plus any fixed semester fees) to estimate the cost of finishing your degree, and compute your registration payment as a percentage of the required amount, in any currency.

How we use AI — transparently

Two features are AI-assisted: drafting research from a topic, and explaining the questions in an uploaded study file. When you use them, only the topic text or the extracted question text and the chosen language are sent to a large language model (Google Gemini, with an OpenRouter fallback), which writes the draft or the explanations, and the result comes straight back to your browser. Nothing is stored on our side, and we never send your name, the file itself, or any personal data. The calculators and Text to PDF never use AI — and never leave your device at all.

AI output is a starting point, not a final product: you review and edit everything in the preview before generating your PDF, and you remain responsible for following your university's academic-integrity rules — use these tools to understand and structure your work, not to submit someone else's words as your own.

Privacy first

Your text, your grades and your numbers are processed inside your browser; the calculators, Text to PDF and every generated PDF never leave your device. When a research draft is requested, only the topic text goes to the AI provider, and only topic keywords go to public, free academic APIs (Wikipedia, OpenAlex, Crossref) — never your personal data. The full details, including advertising cookies, are in our Privacy Policy.

Arabic done right

Arabic PDF generation is notoriously broken on the web: reversed letters and disconnected words. University PDF uses proper Unicode BiDi and Arabic shaping with the Amiri typeface, so Arabic PDFs come out professional, connected and readable — every time, even with mixed Arabic, English and numbers.

What is next

We keep the site deliberately small and polished instead of adding half-finished features. Planned improvements come directly from student feedback: more citation styles, more grading scales, and better editing inside the preview. If something is missing or broken, tell us — we read every message.
